If you add the Workstream panes to your Home tab in Dashboard, you can manage many projects without ever opening Workstream. For example, you can open a project profile or route sheet, update a project status, or assign yourself to projects from these panes.
Each Workstream pane presents project and workstep information from a different perspective.
- Project Pools displays lists of unassigned projects and worksteps that you can assign to yourself. These lists, which are defined by the firm, are referred to as pools. Your firm might also refer to pools as crates, bins, drawers, or shelves.
- My Assignments displays a list of projects and worksteps that have been assigned to you and are ready for your attention.
- Project Assignment allows you to see a list of all the projects and worksteps assigned to you, whether they are ready for your reaction or not. This pane gives you a full picture of your current and future work.
- Project Status displays an overview of the number and percentage of projects your firm has in each status. You can drill down for detail about the individual projects in each status.
